Title Contracts Administrator- Jackson, MS
Job Description Critical for success in this role is the ability to:

- Coordinate the activities necessary to submit customer proposals for momentum bids including pricing, SOW verification, terms and conditions verification, quality requirements, and supply chain requirements.
- Oversee basic contract associated projects from initiation through completion.
- Prepare required contractual and agreement background data to support divisional contract negotiations of major contracts.
- Maintain personal, phone and written communication with customers and field sales staff relative to contract problems, status of orders, specific problems and general marketing trends applicable to his/her account assignments.
- Verify that customer orders reflect Eaton commitments to the customer as reflected in the proposal and any subsequent negotiations.
- Insure that the obligations of the contract are fulfilled throughout the performance period, i.e. delivery, price escalation, lead times.
- Maintain custody of all contractual documents to protect the company legally and maintain ISO9000 and AS9100 requirements.
- Maintain specific customer performance metrics related to OTD, quality, and responsiveness for his/her assigned accounts.
- Assist the sales and marketing team in the KAPI survey process.
- Support group program management group sales & marketing during the preparation of new business capture proposal activities.
- Obtain quarterly production forecast updates for the assigned momentum customer business volume.
- Receive rejects.

Job Qualifications
/Educational Requirements BS/BA (preference for BS/BA in a business or technical field)
- 3 to 5 years direct and/or related experience
- General knowledge of profit policy and negotiation tactics
- Working knowledge of department procedures for pricing, quotations, proposal preparation, and order entry
- General knowledge of FAR, DFAR, and procurement regulations
- Human relation skills to communicate with customer representatives and internal functions to bring together all available capabilities to administer assigned contracts
- Knowledge of company organizational structure and personnel accountabilities to efficiently and effectively obtain support and assistance to resolve customer problems and communicate customer inputs
- Ability to analyze problems relative to procurement, production, delivery and the like to assure the profitable consummation of the order, as well as to maintain customer goodwill
- Experience in program management and PROLaunch process is a plus
