Senior Supply Chain/Contract Analyst- Chicago, IL

This position will focus on analyzing customer purchase data history, supplier rationalization, competitive spend and other supply chain related functions in order to develop detailed customer analysis/value proposition and recommendations. This will include partnering with various Stryker business units to obtain pricing proposals and analyzing the information to develop a comprehensive customer agreement. Additionally, this will include partnering with legal to develop and execute the cross-divisional customer agreement, while ensuring all regulatory compliance procedures are met.

This positional works closely with internal and external customers., including sales, marketing, legal, finance, etc., to provide exceptional data analysis and requires significant analytical abilities, attention to detail and a drive for complete accuracy in work product.

• Partner with business units to obtain pricing proposals for respective customers. Perform varied data analyses which may include: developing complex ROI models, sales projections based on current asset inventory and product constructs.
• Act as Business Partner on all cross-divisional customer pricing and sales/product margin matters. Proactively identify and develop projects, reports and opportunities to improve sales volume and profitability through pricing efforts. Manage the strategy and development of customer pricing proposals.
• Analyze, cleanse and rollup product data to be able to project potential customer savings. Ability to analyze buying trends, rebates, administration fees, shipping and return policy data.
• Provide analysis of customer information and historical data utilizing internal and external software applications. Evaluate supply chain information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
• Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements.
• Be the liaison between the business units, sales team, technology teams and support teams.
o Works with the Material Manager, Finance Department and Patient Billing Specialist to provide complete and accurate data extracts and database views according to specifications.
o Designs and develops reports from multiple source databases and delivers them using delivery platforms to Stryker Stakeholders.
o Support data warehouse cleansing to ensure data integrity and benchmark pricing across multiple vendors
o Ability to develop supply chain recommendation, both at the detail and executive summary level; ability to drive consensus across organization.
o Partner closely with legal to develop comprehensive and compliant customer agreements, including reps/warranties, divisional addendums, etc.
• Develop, monitor and review internal control documentation to ensure compliance with customer agreements
• Partner with business analyst to ensure ongoing compliance with contract terms (product usage)
• Monitor day to day tasks and projects to ensure needed customer requirements are met

Qualifications/Work Experience

• 5- 6 years supply chain experience in the medical device industry, preferably from a hospital setting
• Must be able to interpret and compare Orthopedic products across multiple vendors. A strong understanding of Orthopedic product constructs; as well as understanding of clinical usage of products is necessary
• In-depth knowledge of hospital business processes and logistics within Materials Management, Finance and Patient Billing departments
• Strong supply chain analysis skills with ability to data mine and research large amounts of information from multiple systems; Strong analytical and product management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements; ability to not only analyze data, but to interpret findings
• Demonstrated experience drafting customer proposals, including partnering with Legal, Compliance and Sales to execute
• Demonstrated advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access & PowerPoint; ability to leverage skills to tell ' the data story'
• Demonstrated situational leadership, high accountability and responsibility.
• Demonstrated presentation and communication skills; ability to present complex information to a wide variety of individuals across the company.
• Ability to influence and lead a team of non-direct reports and cross-functional associates to achieved desired results.
• Self-starting, self-motivating mindset with the ability to work remotely and in fast paced environments.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and team building skills; ability to work across multiple cross-functional teams (sales, legal, marketing, etc.) to drive consensus and deliver results; lead by influence
