Rocky Mountain PBS seeks a Regional Manager for Southern Colorado. This position serves as a Senior Manager of Rocky Mountain PBS, coordinating with functional managers in the RMPBS corporate office. Is responsible for revenue generation in Southern Colorado region via the sale of on-air underwriting and event sponsorships, securing foundation grants and individual planned gifts and supporting individual membership programs. Supervises locally based KTSC staff. TYPICAL DUTIES: Establishes and implements marketing and communications plan for KTSC including community engagement activities. Maintains working relationships between KTSC and the local print and broadcast media, civic and professional organizations, and appropriate governmental agencies to promote awareness of KTSC programming and related activities. Ascertains community needs and submits information to KRMA Programming and Production departments. Prepares and maintains the budget of KTSC. Serves as resource representative to the KTSC Local Advisory Committee and the RMPBS Board of Directors. QUALIFICATIONS: The ideal candidate must have 5-10 years experience in sales, marketing, fund-raising, special events or public relations with a demonstrated ability to conduct ongoing campaigns and deal directly with the public. Experience in employee supervision and delegation of responsibility is a plus. Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of the communities of Pueblo, Colorado Springs and southern Colorado is preferred. Media experience, specifically public television, is preferred but not a requirement. Rocky Mountain PBS offers a base salary and a generous benefits package commensurate with experience.
