Pinnacle Communications, an award-winning full-service marketing and advertising agency in Baltimore, is searching for a dynamite public relations specialist to help us serve our growing list of clients. The Pinnacle team provides advertising, marketing and public relations solutions using style, vision and integrity. We do what we love and we love what we do. Provides planning, production, implementation and evaluation of public relations strategies for all agency clients, including agency itself. Essential responsibilities include: 1. Public relations strategic planning, writing and implementation, including, but not limited to: write press releases, photo opps, media advisories, newsletters, ghost write articles, event planning/execution and pitch those items to the local TV, Radio and Print media. 2. mastery and management of social media tools including Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Linkedin, blogs, etc. 3. Attend client press events to host/manage attending media. 4. Research and writing needed to create responses to (local, state, regional, and/or Federal) RFPs Agency participates in. 5. Prepare monthly/periodic public relations reports as directed. 6. Maintain a working knowledge of current trends & developments in advertising and public relations. 7. Perform other duties as requested. Secondary functions: 1. Maintain positive, productive working relationships with all Pinnacle clients and staff. Contribute to project management, new business development, creation of client reports, data entry and other duties as requested. Willing to learn & grow, flexible, creative, energetic and committed to success. The ideal candidate will have a bachelors degree in public relations or mass communications and posses strong analytic skills, with the ability to extract and interpret data from various sources. General business writing skills and excellent project management skills are also required. Minimum 2 years of experience.
