The Cloud Software Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing a product through all stages of the product lifecycle, including defining market requirements, working with product management and R&D, announcing the product and executing demand generation programs. The successful candidate will have extensive experience developing compelling messaging, leading cross-functional teams, developing marketing collateral and supporting sales
Responsibilities
Develop compelling messaging, product positioning, collateral and marketing tools to support HPs cloud automation products
Work closely with product management, R&D, sales and other marketing teams
Perform competitive analysis to position HP cloud automation products in the marketplace
Support global demand generation campaigns to generate sales leads
Communicate the value proposition of products being launched to the sales teams and ensure they have the necessary collateral and tools to sell
Present to customers, partners and internal sales organizations a differentiated value proposition for HP cloud automation products
Understand the overall market landscape including competitors and potential partners.
Bachelor degree is required, MBA desired
Familiarity with data center technology, consolidation, virtualization, automation and/or cloud computing
Minimum of 5 years experience in bringing products to market through complex global organizations, from roles in marketing, product marketing or product management
Previous background in Internet, technology (consumer or B2B) or software industry
Strong technical background with a marketing perspective
Strong process and project management skills with successful experience influencing and leading cross-functional teams
Outstanding written and oral communications skills with a keen ability to translate complexity into simple and intuitive communications
