Channel Sales Manager
Major responsibilities:
1. Responsible for managing commercial channel partners and commercial end users within the Connecticut and Upstate NY geography.
2. Work in tandem with channel partners to drive commercial end user demand across Check Point's solution portfolio through focused account coverage that will facilitate growth of the territory bookings.
3. There is emphasis on sales prospecting – “Hunter” – to identify potential new commercial accounts and increase partner sales to new commercial customers.
4. Support partners by conducting joint commercial end user meetings, training, seminars, education, and presentations.
5. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to implement a business plan that employs a sound solution selling process that drives execution.
Desired Background & Experience :
1. 5 years Territory/Channel Management experience.
2. Background in selling security and network/Internet Protocol network-related applications.
3. Position requires day-to-day and overnight travel.
4. A proven track record of success is critical.
5. Must be a self-starter and a strong closer.
6. B.S or equivalent education
