JOB DESCRIPTION
Cable One is searching for highly motivated, results driven Business Marketing Manager. The primary focus of this position is to provide business marketing support and tactics to all channels within the business sales division. Working with other management team members and collaborating with Corporate Marketing staff, the position will oversee the smooth operations of all marketing efforts and strategies for the business sales channels; extending the brand image on a local as well as corporate business level and; public and community relations within the business markets served.
This position reports to the Vice President of Marketing and will interface closely with the sales, marketing and customer service teams across the organization. The position will be located in Cable One’s corporate offices in Phoenix, Arizona.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; and five plus years previous marketing experience in a telecommunications environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with forecasting and budget management.
Demonstrated successful marketing background with complete knowledge of products, services, and pricing that Cable ONE offers.
Detail oriented with excellent oral and written communication skills.
Position requires extensive travel by car and plane.
Advanced computer skills, including proficiency with the Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project and Access).
High level of integrity, honesty and always respectful of others.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Set forth below is a list of the essential duties and responsibilities (or "essential functions") of this position.
Manage the Business Sales division’s marketing budget to generate sales leads utilizing mediums that include varied strategies that will include, but not limited to, television, direct mail, print, radio, and investigate and implement as appropriate to achieve desired goals.
Promotes the brand image throughout the business communities in which Cable One serves as appropriate.
Works with corporate and system management to implement local and corporate acquisition programs, including setting and managing to budget, structuring the different offers within approved guidelines, developing communication strategies and managing varied media efforts.
Forecast and budget business sales marketing budgets by analyzing trends as well as RGU and revenue growth requirements.
Measures and evaluates acquisition and retention effectiveness and provides feedback to management as required.
Works closely with corporate business sales management and system General Managers to coordinate and communicate marketing strategies and activities.
Conducts ongoing analysis of performance, including tracking and analyzing of marketing campaigns and report of actual performance to budget.
Analyze competitive performance and recommends appropriate actions as needed.
Monitors business RGU churn and works with business sales management to develop initiatives to meet churn reduction goals.
Manages business cross channel schedules to maximize ad awareness, brand imagery, and direct response.
