Responsibilities • The Product Manager for Business Intelligence will drive the strategy, definition, and collection of key performance indicators that are needed to provide insights of usage behavior of Norton products as well as insights of drivers of business performance. • Work closely with product team to ensure new product features can be measured reliably for their adoption and contribute to the overall understanding of customer behavior and business performance. • Educate the organization on what business intelligence can be leveraged from products by providing and maintaining a KPI (key performance indicator) dictionary, BI usage documentation, and conducting training. • Drive benchmarking and performance analysis across multiple channels and geographies. • Establish regular and insightful reporting and analysis on core KPIs. • Interpret and analyze reports and dashboards and recommend actionable insights based on information. • Use data to develop analytical models to assess business performance, and identify growth opportunities • Drive data quality initiatives of owned products to ensure information collected is trustworthy and consistent • Demonstrate thought leadership by synthesizing inputs from multiple sources, analyzing primary data, and delivering executive recommendations
Qualifications Bachelors degree and 10+ years of relevant work experience. BS or technical degree preferred. MBA a plus. eCommerce experience a plus Strong business acumen and understanding of functional linkages Excellent organization and analytical skills: detail oriented, thorough Ability to influence people at all levels and in various functions. Strong technical skills and a detailed understanding of software systems to effectively collaborate with engineering on product requirements. Background in database programming and analytic tools – SAS & SQL Effective written, verbal and presentation skills; with ability to present to all levels within the organization Strong leader, self-starter and proven team player in a high achievement, fast paced environment. Strong team building skills and experience to bring together diverse views Ability to sift through large amounts of information and extract the key issues and communicate
