Business and Marketing Coordinator
Position: Gym Marketing Assistant and Coordinator
Hours: Sundays 9:30am-6:30pm, Mon-Thursday 4pm-8pm, 8-10 additional hours during the week. (week day hours flexible)
Pay: $10/hour, with a stipend for cellular phone
Job Description: Under the direction of a organizational director, assist with organization, maintenance and operation of a gym facility in Bath, PA. This gym is located 5 miles from Moravian College.
**Applicants must have transportation, be available Sundays 9:30am-6:30pm, and Monday-Thursday 4-8pm minimum.
Duties:
Communicate
- Provide entrance information and assistance to students, parents and coaches; coordinate day-to-day operations and schedule activities, programs and events. Much of this portion of the job happens via email and can be on flexible hour timing.
- Prepare letters, flyers, mailers and other materials to publicize the gym and its events
- Maintain displays and bulletin boards
- Update weekly the gym website (training to be provided)
Organize
- Collect, Summarize, and enter into systems seasonal registrations
- Create and maintain the seasonal schedule and handle inquires for changes and additions
- Ensure coaches have updated weekly attendance sheets and news bulletins
- Plan pro-actively seasonal events and schedules
- Assist and eventually lead planning of critical team trips and events
- Ensure seasonal promotional needs are met (T-shirt ordering, Registration Brochure Creation and Printing
- Planning and Execution of One Day Seminar Events
Assist
- Assist organizational director with varied ad-hoc needs (These requests are infrequent and examples could include providing clerical support as needed, making reservations, sending communications, making travel arrangements, running an errand)
- Assist with placing equipment orders and ensure gym inventory across equipment and office supplies are consistently replace
Develop
- Assist business leader with research and planning
- Manage a small marketing budget to proactively source new students
