Position Description: The Pharmacy Formulary Operations Analyst position will report to the Formulary Operations Pharmacist to help support the building and maintaining of formularies, support for formulary documents, decisions and client communications, prepare requests for formulary and UM changes, support Medispan processes for updates to client formulary tables, and support for completion of excel grids.
Position Responsibilities:
Conduct and manage outcomes of various studies that include analyzing, reviewing, forecasting, trending, and presenting information for operational and business planning
Support short and long term operational/strategic business activities by developing, enhancing and maintaining operational information and models
Manage formulary data and internal and vendor supported tools
Support day to day formulary operations related activities
Develop and implement effective/strategic business solutions through research and analysis of data and business processes

Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
2+ years of Managed Care or PBM (Pharmacy Benefit Management) or Formulary management experience (Managing and manipulating the data in relation to the drugs) experience.
1+ year of good working knowledge with MS Word (Documenting standard operating procedures and training manuals).
Assets:
Bachelors degree is preferred.
1+ years software development lifecycle experience (SDLC) working with IT to develop UAT plans and test scripts.
Advanced knowledge with Excel and Access (Developing SQL queries) and Visio (Document business process flows) is highly preferred.
Pharmacy Tech is strongly preferred.
