AT&T Senior Marketing Database Manager
Description This Senior Marketing Database Manager's primary responsibility is to support the Pricing Managers and GoPhone Marketing Team through data retrieval, data analysis, forecasting, customer profiling and segmentation. The role includes the design and build of business intelligence tools to drive pricing and marketing decision making process. As an expert in AT&T Mobility subscriber data, the Marketing Database Manager collaborates with a variety of marketing groups and cross-functional teams to provide customer segmentation and profiling support and various database related reports. Specific responsibilities include:
Support pricing managers by writing SQL / SAS queries to retrieve data from AT&T Mobility's data warehouse for regular and ad hoc projects
Design, build and maintain new and enhanced subscriber reports in a timely manner
Design and build Business Intelligence reporting tools
Maintain daily, weekly and monthly Customer Performance metrics reports
Customer segmentation and profiling; churn forecasting
Qualifications Required Qualifications:
Two years experience in data analysis and reporting and / or data mining
Intermediate level in SAS, SQL, Teradata, MS Access
Strong analytic and fact-based decision-making skills
Ability to work on and track multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to translate ideas and vision into reports and business intelligence tools
Ability to successfully partner with other organizations including technology, go-to-market, and marketing teams
Strong written, verbal and oral presentation skills
Strong strategic thinking skills
Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and other standard office computer applications
Desired Qualifications:
Experience in wireless services, data, and / or high tech industry
Ability to anticipate risks and devise contingencies to manage them
Understanding of basic UNIX commands
Experience in developing user interfaces for accessing data
Bachelor's degree in a Quantities Business Analysis, Statistics or analogous degree
