The Strategic Development Team plays a critical role in WebMDs public portal success. The team focuses on achieving WebMDs business plan and strengthening its foundation for sustainable growth by driving innovation to/from the marketplace. Members of the team partner with WebMDs sales and marketing organizations to provide WebMDs largest, most strategic clients with most innovative marketing campaigns that focus on specific clients business objectives. The team also works with its research and business intelligence organizations to ensure that each strategic client solution is supported by strong value story, while leading development of a measurement plan and tracking impact of the programs on clients business. The teams central role in marshalling WebMD mutli-functional resources to achieve clients and WebMD strategic goals, provides individuals a unique opportunity for learning how to lead a growing, multi-functional, media organization.
Requirements: MBA or other relevant graduate degree from top tier school Minimum of 4 (Associate Director) or 6 years (Director) of experience in marketing or brand management within healthcare, media or relevant sectors. Strong background with online channel is preferred. Most candidates come from top-tier consulting firms or marketing positions within leading CPG companies Proven record of personal impact on growth and innovation Strong interpersonal and communication skills, executive presence, and ability to build trusting relationships with all levels of client & internal groups Outstanding problem-solving & analytical skills Successful track record of thought-partnership, team work and leadership High energy and self-starter orientation
