Associate Buyer
-Assist with product selection and development. -Aid in the development of merchandise and assortment plans (sub categories/color/materials). -Assist with visual merchandising decisions; create floor plans. -Awareness of consumer and market trends. -Develop merchandise presentation direction/guidelines. -Develop order quantities and fabrication commitments for new product. -Maintain factory to DC on order reports and delivery flow. -Help manage OTB, pricing, costing and markdowns. -Understanding of product development and product knowledge. -Facilitate compliance for outside vendor buys. -Complete and submit buy sheets. Follow up with retail systems team to ensure accuracy and completion. -Understanding of retail math. -Work with wholesale/production to manage shipping and delivery needs. -Provide direction to analyst team on merchandise flow.
