The Associate Brand Manager will assist in marketing brands in Canada using both well-established and innovative techniques. The Associate Brand Manager reports to the Director of Marketing and will assist with directing and coordinating marketing strategies and activities for assigned brands as appropriate, this individual will be tasked with driving the business in the following areas:
-New Products (formulation of marketing strategies, pricing analysis, business analysis, and commercialization). Launch and forecast kits -Portfolio Management - sku rat and mix management -Office Products Pricer - Work with US SAP team to develop 2 pricer updates/year -Brand Equity & Share Growth (brand value, market share, brand and market growth, and decision-making for the effective handling of brands) -Channel & Retail Customer Development (activities related to channel and retail customer growth and improvement) -Consumer/End-user Communication (advertising, promotion, packaging, public relations) -Marketing Research (planning, collection, and analysis of data relevant to marketing decision making and the communication of the results of this analysis) -Collaborating with the GBU and US team
Qualifications: -Bachelors/University degree in Business Administration or related field, degree in marketing preferred -1 - 3 years of marketing experience with a proven track record of results -Creative thinking/problem solving skills -Initiative & follow-through -Strong project management skills -Self-motivated with a strong work ethic -Solid analytical skills and acute attention to details -Ability to work effectively across functions -Strong oral and written communication skills are required; must be able to present data and conclusions in an organized manner
