Description
Position Summary: The Associate Brand Manager (ABM) role is a strategic marketing position requiring a dynamic and creative marketer. It is a rare opportunity to set the agenda and be part of creating highly incremental growth opportunities for Mountain Dew. This position is an excellent opportunity to develop critical experiences in brand marketing, customer marketing and innovation, leadership and driving the leading edge of the company's ABM will work closely with Sr. Marketing Leadership and internal/external partners to develop product communication strategies, manage innovation launch strategies and create robust business analysis.A successful applicant will need to have both a passion for understanding consumers and a strong results orientation to lead key brand or Responsibilities: - Manage agency partners in developing launch plans for important DEW innovations (product and platform) including work on concept, positioning, package development and system execution - Manage numerous digital activation programs including implementing key social networking strategies - Lead development of several key DEW platforms including sports, art, gaming and music - Manage key customer and bottler relationships to develop DEW brand in important channels and regions and ensure flawless program system execution - Work collaboratively with cross functional partners and go-to-market teams to ensure successful program activation and product launches. - Lead business analytics for program performance assessment and key brand growth opportunities
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred. - Minimum 3-5 years experience in brand management - Experience and familiarity with business analytics and performance assesment tools, as well as key consumer insights techniques (ie ethnography, i-trac, millward brown, etc) - Robust interest in and grasp of current consumer trends and pop culture, specifically within millennial culture - Demostrated ability to work in high energy, fast paced, team-centric environment on a brand that operates outside the norms of traditional marketing - Deep familiarity and comfort with social networking tools and programs
