CNBC Asia Pacific's channels, which include CNBC Asia, CNBC-TV18 (India), CNBC Pakistan, Nikkei-CNBC (Japan) and SBS-CNBC (South Korea) are available in more than 21 countries across the Asia Pacific region. CNBC also has a collaboration with China Central Television (CCTV). CNBC content reaches 400 million homes via CCTV's Business Channel programme, Global Connection Show. · Edit daily promotions using Avid editing software · Write sharp, clean promo copy for both news event and programme segment promotion · Update Proof of Performance promos regularly · Strive to learn about financial markets, business and economics to improve the ability to produce promos that work for CNBC Asia · Keep close tabs on breaking news and news shows to collect promotion ideas, soundbites and news clips · Work closely and develop good communication with every department and person involved with work on promos, including news, graphics, scheduling and operations

Qualifications/Requirements Strong Avid editing skills are a must. 2-3 years production experience. Possess strong writing skills. Knowledge of AfterEffects is an advantage. Shoot experience, including directing, working with talent and crews etc. is an advantage. Record of creating compelling, creative promos Desired Characteristics Have a passion for News Creative flair Possess excellent time management skills Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and adhere to strict deadlines under pressure Ability to work well independently as well as in a team environment; and be detail oriented Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment and work well with both external and internal clients
