Assistant Product Manager - Bags
- Point person for daily communication with Production Manager and factories regarding the status of all ongoing development projects. - Work with Product Managers/Category Manager to establish development/commercialization timelines which ensure timely delivery of finished product. - Manage development timelines to ensure on-time delivery of photo shoot samples, sales samples, and production of product. - Work with Product Manager and Category manager to ensure all products are developed to target costs. - Effective and timely communication (within 24 hours) with all vendors and cross-functional partners. - Efficient product comments on proto samples for development and sales samples for bulk production - Completion of accurate specs delivered prior to set deadlines for Sales Samples and Bulk Production. - Work with the Product Manager to document all changes during the development process, maintain up to date specifications, and constantly communicate these changes to the factories/vendors. - Internal systems data management for material contents, costing details and product line details. - Assist in the sourcing of new materials and trims used for Bags & Luggage. - Assist Product Manager and Category Manager on all other assigned projects.
