The Assistant Brand Manager will develop and execute marketing strategies and provide marketing and project management leadership for sports nutrition oriented product development projects. The ideal candidate should have experience with running small brands or working within companies with a “start-up” culture, excellent communications skills, strong work ethic, and be extremely resourceful.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:
Implement an integrated, multi-channel strategy to drive growth and retention for customers.
Develop channel and retailer-specific strategies that are based on consumer insights and are consistent with and supportive of the brand and company goals.
Track impact of various marketing programs.
Create content and sales tools that support the brand’s strategy and vision.
Provide management and direction to internal and external creative resources in the development of in-store displays, signage, collateral and other communication pieces.
Monitor industry, retail and consumer trends to define improvements and opportunity gaps.
Recommend areas for innovation and enhancement.
Identify opportunities to utilize available channels (including digital) to develop and execute growth, loyalty and retention marketing strategies that deepen customer loyalty and drive product adoption.
Assess new tools and investments required to support long-term growth strategies.
Track and process invoices relating to marketing plan execution.
Work independently and with minimal direction, and flexibility to adapt to changing business priorities.
Craft recommendations based on analyses that impact corporate decision-making
Be detail oriented.
Effectively, prioritize, work well in high stress situations and under tight deadlines

Work in a team or independently when required

Requirements:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree in Business
An MBA or equivalent work experience is desirable.
