Our client is looking for energetic, successful sales candidates in NYC to sell their event management software. This is an excellent, well paying opportunity for the right people in a rapidly growing field. To be considered, you must have an established record selling application development software, preferably for a high profile company. Our client delivers integrated technology solutions, marketing services and online media properties that encourage and enable participation in activities and events. Their technology solutions help community organizations improve customer service capabilities, increase revenues, and reduce the cost and complexity of managing programs, activities and events.
Their software tools facilitate participation and help manage online registrations, reservations, payments, donations and fundraising, memberships, data, customer service and website content. Our client delivers integrated technology solutions, marketing services and online media properties that encourage and enable participation in activities and events. Candidates must be aggressive, hunter type sales people with demonstrated selling success. They are looking for driven sales executives, with excellent customer service, proven leadership skills, and a high level of enthusiasm. Responsibilities include: • Cold calling prospective clients • Setting up meetings with prospective clients • Strong consultative face to face relationship building with new clients • Promoting and selling software applications • Building trust, loyalty and solid long-term relationships with key decision-makers • Understanding current and prospective customers’ business issues and buying motives • Conducting “needs analysis” for clients • Delivering the right solution for clients’ evolving business requirements Requirements: • 5 years business-to-business sales / consulting experience with a proven successful track record • Ability to deliver on growth, selecting and qualifying opportunities, and achieving sales objectives with business customer accounts • Highly desired is a proven track record of selling products into the events industry • Strong face-to-face sales consultative skills • Exceptional interpersonal skills, customer-focused, strong communication and organizational skills, goal oriented, and self-motivated team player • Ability to learn, use and understand technology • Team Player • Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure, fast paced environment Four year college degree required.
