ACTIVITY COORDINATOR - Part Time
Southern Land Company, headquartered in Franklin, Tennessee, is an award-winning, multi-family, mixed-use, and residential developer with expertise in the creation, design, and construction of single family, retail, office, and multi-family communities.
We are seeking a highly motivated, talented Administrative/Activity Coordinator to join our energetic and dynamic team at Tucker Hill in McKinney, Texas. This is a part-time position, working approximately 24 hours per week and will report to the Director of Development.
The Administrative/Activity Coordinator should be highly self motivated and have the ability to serve as a liaison between the internal staff, homeowners, and the company. The right-fit candidate should possess excellent organizational and communication skills with an emphasis on first class customer service and flawless attention to detail.
Primary responsibilities for this position include the following:
Receptionist duties: answer phones and greet guests
Code invoices and submit to accounts payable
Enter new prospect data into Buildtopia software
Manage office supplies, postage/mail, and other misc supplies
Monitor/track Tucker Hill reception email, maintain resident database, and manage Intranet user accounts
Provide administrative support to the development and marketing teams
Create year-long program of monthly community events for homeowners (concerts, movies, seminars, splash days, tours, clubs, picnics, cooking demos, holiday events, fitness classes, pool activities, etc)
Coordinate all event logistics, including but not limited to, communication with vendors, catering, equipment rental, physical set-up and tear-down, etc.
Promote activities via emails, reminders and posts on the Intranet calendar; coordinate RSVPs and manage monetary exchange for events requiring resident payment
Coordinate budget for all resident activities with Director of Marketing
Other administrative duties as assigned
Requirements:
High School diploma.
Minimum of 5 years experience in similar position
Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
Strong organizational skills
Ability to multi-task and prioritize
Ability to resolve conflicts in a professional manner
Experience with budget preparation
Flexibility to adjust to changing priorities and deadlines
Excellent computer skills with an intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
