Job Title: Sales Account Specialist
Location: The Coleman Company, Inc.- Golden, Colorado
Relocation: Relocation is not offered for this position.
Accountabilities: The Sales Account Specialist is responsible for assisting in the managing and selling into assigned channels. The Account Specialists will have indirect account management for assigned accounts and or Outside Sales Reps and support National Account Managers as assigned. The Account Specialist will also be responsible for identifying growth opportunities and communicating to the Account Manager and providing support for the account base within the assigned channel. The primary accountabilities include:
Actively assist in the growth of the specified account base and support customers and National Account Managers to achieve planned growth.
Coordinate all involved groups (Sales Mgmt, Marketing, Product Management, Category Management, Customer Service and Finance) are fully engaged in the Customer Planning Process, including:
Pre-Line Review Meetings
Customer Meetings
Line Reviews
Customer Pricing
Annual Key Account Business Planning
Execution of Line Review Results
Work with outside sales representatives to ensure that Annual Business Planning outcomes are fully executed and customers are being managed as appropriate as defined by sales management.
Assist Demand Planning and National Account Managers in preparing and submitting accurate monthly sales forecasts to ensure that the forecasted numbers are attained.
Manage and update order status and back orders follow-up for all accounts.
Provide resources to effectively communicate account/channel price strategies.
Review and assist with fact-based selling templates and presentations.
Required Qualifications: In order to perform the accountabilities of this positions, candidates must be able to demonstrate:
Legal authorization to work in the US.
A minimum of 1 year business related experience in Sales and/or Marketing.
A Bachelors Degree in Business or related field.
A love of the outdoors and related activities.
Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Demonstrated formal presentation skills before small and large groups.
Proven analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
The willingness and ability to travel up to 30% of the time to perform the essential duties of this position.
The willingness and ability to relocate to Golden, Colorado, if not already located in the area, without company assistance.
The ability to lift and move product samples up to 25 lbs. on a regular basis.
Preferred Qualifications: In addition to the above requirement candidates may be able to demonstrate:
Experience selling to or supporting sales in retail headquarters..
An MBA degree.
