Seeking professional software and solution selling executive passionate about driving compelling growth in dynamic Communications Sector account base with a vision and execution acumen to think globally, act locally with one of the luminary companies of the telecommunications industry. Key requirements for this position as a Microsoft Account Executive include:
10 years successful sales experience closing multi-million deals with enterprise customers. Technology degree and/or MBA preferred. Strong experience in executive or consultative selling of enterprise software and solutions Industry knowledge of & relationships with the Telecommunications, Cable & Network Service Provider vertical. Experience building partnerships that help customers meet their strategic goals and growth objectives Strong track record for exceeding business and revenue objectives Strong communication, selling and negotiation skills Experience in managing internal/external teams in a cross group environment
You must anticipate competitive challenges and set in place action plans to win business. You must drive the core Microsoft Enterprise Platform including MS Communications Solutions in the customer's lines of business to demonstrate value to their business on many levels. The success of the business is measured by your leadership to drive adoption of the Microsoft products, platforms and services including closing large multi-million dollar, multi-year IT Enterprise Agreements.
Key Areas of Accountability:
Manage all aspects of the sales life cycle (multi-million$ quota, 2x pipeline, accurate forecasts, closing) Manage the MS relationship with all of the product groups, executive sponsors and M&E executives Develop account business plans that identifies strategically and tactically business growth and forecasts. Meet or exceed metrics including revenue, customer satisfaction, competitive displacement, and other goals. Succeed as THE point of focus for sales strategy, global pricing negotiations, licensing and other agreements Provide a predictable and consistent interface between Microsoft and the M&E Customer. Align to Microsoft Enterprise Group's objectives - CPE (Customer and Partner Engagement), CSI (Competitive Strategic Initiative), Relationship Excellence, Growth, Realizing Value through a One Microsoft positioning.
This position can be based out of Southern California region (San Diego).
