Our client is currently seeking an Account Executive who has established relationships at advertising agencies. As an Account Executive, you will be challenged to bring your "A" game. The Sales Executive role demands an energetic, highly motivated, dynamic, results-oriented sales athlete who excels at bringing in new business. Your objective is to sell new business to direct advertisers, agencies and web publishers as well as to manage existing key relationships. You will be expected to be knowledgeable of market and industry trends, competitors, and leading customer strategies. You will be supported by the client services infrastructure of a successful company. The ideal candidate will have in-depth experience in the marketing and sales of digital advertising for rich media. You must be willing to put in extra time and plan, prepare and execute high impact meetings with prospects and clients, while identifying and developing a strong understanding of a client's core objectives and challenges. Most importantly, you must maximize revenue growth!



  • Work alongside Media Strategy, Business Development, Account Management  and Ad Operations team leaders to develop new business, renewals and up sells
  • Exceed daily, monthly and quarterly revenue goals
  • Engage agency and direct client decision makers at all levels
  • Plan, prepare and present at high impact meetings with both prospects and existing clients
  • Execute against a formal tactical and strategic plan, and aggressively prospect, evaluate and identify best opportunities
  • Identify and develop a strong understanding of client's core objectives and challenges
  • Understand competitive landscape
  • Adopt the company’s best practice selling methodology
  • Utilize research in presentations and interactions with prospects and clients
  • Develop winning selling strategies and proposals
  • Accurately forecast revenue growth
  • Manage clients and pipeline in customer relationship management software
  • Liaising with client services team to ensure successful implementation of campaigns and renewal of clients
  • Spread enthusiasm all around and be pro-active in driving revenue
  • Manage day-to-day operational processes including campaign set-up, receipt of creative or tags, trafficking, optimization and trouble-shooting.

 Requirements

  • A strong desire to succeed in an online media sales and service organization
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in interactive sales, online advertising or digital sales experience
  • Results driven and committed to creating a ‘book of business’
  • Strong understanding of industry trends, technologies and pricing models
  • Excellent understanding of agency dynamics and campaign buying and planning
  • Strong knowledge of ad campaign metrics and analysis
  • Superior skills in all facets of the sales cycle including prospecting, negotiating, and the ability to sell based on value, not price
  • Candidate must bring a deep rolodex of top agency and brand contacts
  • Experience with mobile, video or social campaigns a huge plus
  • Understanding of audience profiles, online ad targeting, and campaign optimization
  • Proven communication, presentation and sales skills with a knack for consultative selling
  • Use of sales / CRM software (e.g. , etc.)
