Job Title: Manager Interactive Development
Job Summary: You will develop interactive and reusable media elements, including web pages, dynamic templates, graphics, flash objects, audio pod casts, and video elements. Projects range from Rich Media and Game Programming to flash websites and banners with dynamic content. You work closely with creative lead, IA, Content Strategist and front-end developer to deliver-media rich client solutions.
Responsibilities:
Manage multiple full project lifecycles
Set up programming best practices for jr developers
Responsible for teams timelines and quality
Create process flows and guidelines for different scenarios (flash assets)
Involvement in the conceptual phase of multiple projects
Detail oriented and strong initiative for using latest technology
Leverage visual design skills to create dynamic and complex Flash Designs.
Understanding of Video codec's and advanced video encoding options in Flash.
Flash (MX or 8), Flash Server, Flex, HTML, XML, Dreamweaver, JavaScript, ActionScript, Fireworks, audio and video editing, DHTML, and CSS.
Optimization of creative elements for varying bandwidth and platform requirements
Tech Design and Documentation
Rapid prototyping
Active involvement within the flash, flex, Apollo developer community
Creating Point of view documents (example: SEO and Flash, Preloading Best Practices)
Job Requirements:
7+ years of industry experience
3+ years project management experience in delivering internet solutions in a client-service organization
Led diverse teams of 10 or more people in dynamic and fast-paced and globally diverse environments
Experienced multiple full project lifecycles from business development to final delivery
Extensive experience planning, designing, and building vast verity of interactive components
Strong project and people management skills. Must be able to function as a project leader as well as an individual contributor
Working knowledge of XHTML, CSS2, Flash, ActionScript 2.0, Flash Server, Video and Audio Streaming, JavaScript/Ajax that would be adequate to assess quality of work product and drive innovation within the interactive development team
Working knowledge of Flash Remoting and Communication Server experience
Broad knowledge of Web 2.0 applications, advanced skills in visual design, information architecture, usability evaluation, and appropriate technologies.
Working knowledge of Flex, Final Cut, Aftereffects, Maya. (plus)
Education: Bachelor’s degree required
