Summary: As an eProduct Manager, you actively shape and lead implementation of the global strategy for your eProduct. Boston Scientific’s eProducts include , SalesSource, HR Portal, eCatalog, and eMail Marketing (Aprimo). You achieve success by managing the eProduct to maximize its impact on sales growth and/or operating efficiency based upon the eProduct’s overarching strategic objective. You stay abreast, or even ahead, of trends in your eProduct space and formulate persuasive enhancement proposals that enable Boston Scientific to achieve and retain best-in-class capabilities in your eProduct space. You maximize your eProduct’s appropriate usage by acting as its chief evangelist, teacher/trainer, and troubleshooter. You choose and use relevant measurements, which both drive continuous improvement and demonstrate your eProduct’s value to Boston Scientific. Responsibilities:
Above all, partner with eMarketing Strategists, marketing and sales teams, and other key stakeholders (e.g., Human Resources management for the HR Portal) to integrate use of your eProduct into eMarketing programs and the Boston Scientific operating model.
Reach out across businesses and regions to develop the strategic rationale and business case for enhancements and upgrades, generally leading cross-company project teams formed expressly for this purpose.
Lead your project teams in the formulation of comprehensive, documented business requirements and functional specifications for enhancements and upgrades.
Represent your eProduct to senior management and persuasively advocate for enhancements and upgrades.
Formulate Requests for Proposal (RFPs) as appropriate, and lead cross-company teams in the evaluation and selection of vendors. Act as primary liaison for your eProduct with internal service providers, including IT, as well as Boston Scientific’s agency of record (AOR) and other external service providers.
Lead implementation of enhancement and upgrade projects using generally-accepted principles of project management to deliver within committed budgets and schedules.
Oversee the development and execution of training programs that teach users, both within and beyond Global eMarketing, how to use your eProduct most effectively, efficiently, and independently.
Troubleshoot technical/production problems that your eProduct will inevitably encounter; ensure that problems are resolved with minimal business impact.
Regularly assess and report on the contribution of your eProduct relative to defined goals, using a range of tools including results measurement, primary market research, syndicated/secondary research, and, as appropriate, heuristic analysis.
Evangelize within Global eMarketing and across the organization on behalf of your eProduct.
Recommend, manage, and report on the annual budget for your eProduct. Qualifications:
MBA and 3-5 years of related experience; Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of related experience; or equivalent
Track record of managing the development and launch of market-facing applications on time and within budget, ideally within an eBusiness environment
Solid understanding of user needs
Thorough, practical understanding of and experience working in adherence to project management best practices
Strong analytical skills

Demonstrated collaborative skills
Desire to work in a fast paced environment and ability to adapt to changing needs and priorities
